Hi, we're Adam & Lorna, a husband & wife team who together run These Bags Are Great !!!

We live is Shrewsbury, Shropshire and have a warehouse jam-packed with bags in nearby Market Drayton...  That's where we pack up all the lovely orders we receive from you guys, our customers!!!

Adam draws the bags (and then takes forever to get them onto the computer!) and Lorna comes up with lots of ideas and organises the stock and ordering.

As well as our own website we also list our bags on eBay and Amazon, and we have lots of trade customers who sell our bags in their gift shops, garden centres, and at fairs and markets... 

We'd love to be able to get out to meet you in person and sell direct at markets and fairs but we don't really have the time, but please feel free to drop us a line if you'd like to know where our customers are!

Almost all of the world's jute is grown in India and Bangladesh, and it's in Kolkata that we work really closely with our good friend RB who manufactures the bags for us!

Our trusted manufacturing partner is one of a select few companies in the world who are SA8000:2008 compliant, meaning that all our bags are produced in a genuine, ethical manner with a fully audited, traceable structure allowing for no Child, Forced or Compulsory Labour, Exemplary Health & Safety Standards, a Freedom of Association and Right to Collective Bargaining,  proper Remuneration and no Discriminations between Ethnic or Religious Groups.  

All our bags are Vegan Friendly with Animal-Free Polypropylene Linings, Natural & Unbleached Jute, printed with AZO-Free Dyes, and Phthalate-Free.

So you can be genuinely sure that a Great Bag really is great!!!
